Monday Morning mUUsic at the UUCC, Social Hall

Join us for a free fun music play class for 0-5 year olds and their families every second Monday of the month at the UUCC! Mondays 10:00-10:30 AM through January 13. Bring a comfy blanket to sit on. We’ll sing, move, use our imaginations, and have fun making music together! All instruments will be provided, and classes will be led by UUCC Music Director and Music Educator, Dr. Anna Hamilton. Carita Barr, Member: Growing up in a Lutheran state-taxed church, I never was very religious. But 40 years ago, I heard about Unitarian Universalism through friends. I found a home here where this diverse religious community really works to better our world. Respect and honor for the “other” is the main ingredient in our cooperative efforts as a movement.

We were looking for a church where we felt accepted both intellectually and spiritually, a place where all people and religions were regarded equally without condemnation. Our search began at UUCC six years ago and we never had to look any further. We found our place here with a community of like-minded people and it became our second home, our second family.

For much of our married life, we were without a church home, but felt our lives would be enriched if we could find a place where we were part of something greater than ourselves. The UUCC became that place. There, we’ve made great friends, enjoyed meaningful fellowship and found a sense of peace. It’s just what we were looking for.
