If you are thinking of recognizing someone on a memorable occasion (special birthday, anniversary, achievement, death) the UUCC committees have put together a wish list of items that would be wonderful to have, but are beyond their budget capabilities.  Recognition of your gift would be included in some way, depending on the gift (book plate, small brass plate…)  It would be a lasting way to both honor a special person and meet a UUCC special need.

All gifts must be approved by the Building and Grounds Committee as per our Policy on Donations

The gift ideas below were suggested by UUCC committees.  Of course, you are welcome to come up with your own idea!

Worship

• Stained glass windows: Imagine the beauty they’d add to our sanctuary or other areas!
• Artwork or sculptures: Donating or creating unique pieces to decorate the church’s interior or exterior.
• Custom altar or podium: A one-of-a-kind, functional piece that complements the sanctuary.
• Updated sound system or audiovisual equipment: Let’s bring our services and events to the next level.
• Memorial benches or plaques: Dedicating unique spots in memory of loved ones or significant events.
• Library or resource center: A hub for religious texts, educational materials, and multimedia resources.

CYRE

• Water Fountain with bottle filler component OR Hot/Cold Water Dispenser that uses refillable jugs
• Bean Bag Chairs
• Playground Equipment for Toddlers and Pre-k
• Replace sofa
• TV Screens mounted on the walls

Building and Grounds

• Closing in the proscenium stage area to allow for a cleaner look in the sanctuary and much-needed storage.
• A large wall hanging to hang behind the podium in the sanctuary.
• Choir platform and Podium for the sanctuary.
