As we continue to celebrate African American History Month, we will turn to the writing of W.E.B. Dubois. In his book, “The Souls of Black Folk”, Dubois outlines an understanding of race and transforms thinking about sociological issues. He invites all humans to take charge of their situation and be the author of their own stories. We will celebrate this historic voice in American history and be inspired to be the change we want to see.
