Living a Life of Passion

The purpose of my talk is to highlight the importance of two factors in our search for happiness. It can be best be described as “Do what you love, Love what you do”.  But success and happiness are not always linked; many successful people are not happy. How do you achieve happiness even when you don’t know what you love or are not doing what you are passionate about? That comes from the power of gratitude. Grateful people have the strength to find happiness even in dark times, and happy people always find success in their lives.

Free to Be Me and You

June is Pride Month. It’s a month to recognize and accept this diverse community that is characterized by a shared culture, social movements, and a focus on individuality. An introductory discussion for the month begins with recognizing how people are different and why that’s okay. Each of us is born in a different time and place and has a different heredity and environment. The product of the choices made by those factors makes us who we are: Free to be you and me.
