This Sunday’s service will include advice from Dr. Baron Davis, who recently assumed the role of Superintendent for the Richland School District Two. A graduate of Francis Marion University and the University of South Carolina, he earned a doctoral degree in educational counseling from USC. His career includes serving as a principal in schools in Orangeburg County, as well as both Richland One and Richland Two. In 2014, the school board named Dr. Davis an assistant superintendent, a position where he undertook a variety of roles that included mentoring improvements for teachers and principals, as well as innovation in instruction.
