This will be the kickoff for our pledge drive from our finance committee. The pledge drive is an opportunity for us to take seriously the commitments we make as a congregation to live by our principles and impact our community around us. We often speak of being the change in the world around us, and our financial pledges create opportunities for the programs and efforts of the UUCC to thrive.

The development of spiritual virtues – loving all of life, even the hard parts; equanimity, compassion – may be entirely a matter of getting our neurons wired a certain way, but the circuitry of spirituality differs from the circuitry of cognition and emotion, though it draws on both.
