The UUCC currently has three story circles! One meets on Fridays via Zoom and another meets Tuesday in person at UUCC in the library. These two are currently full. The third Story Circle group meets on Thursday 2-3 p.m. and has room for new participants. These can be from our church community as well as to the greater community. Story Circles are groups of 3-12 persons seated in a circle taking turns telling their stories on various topics. They follow a format that allows each person a time for talking and a time for listening. Circles are a great place for fun, fellowship, and deepening relationships. As Barbara Bates Smith, former member and initiator of Story Circles at UUCC, said, “There’s magic that happens in Story Circles.” .
