As an annual tradition that goes back many years, the UUCC will be hosting another Thanksgiving Day potluck gathering. We encourage everyone to join us and bring your family and friends. On this day, we will celebrate peace and gratefulness for all, including indigenous people, immigrants, and all oppressed people. We are an LGBTQ Welcoming Community.
We’ll gather for socializing at Noon on Thanksgiving Day, with dinner beginning about 1:00pm. Turkey and ham will be provided, and a small donation will be taken to cover the meat costs. Tell us what you’re bringing when you sign up. Please bring a non-perishable item for the food banks if you can.
Organizers of the potluck are Larry Siegel and Jim Kimbler. Please sign up in the Social Hall on Sundays in November or email , text to 803-528-2433. We also need ten kitchen volunteers 10 AM – 4 PM, five before the dinner and five after.
