Rev. Hillary, Taylor is the executive Director of South Carolinians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty. A graduate of both Furman University and Candler School of Theology (Emory University), she was ordained an elder in the United Methodist Church in August 2020. In addition to her abolition work, Hillary is working towards board certification through her PRN Chaplain position at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where she completed her chaplain residency year. When she is not working to solve the problem of violence in South Carolina, you can find her running with her dog (Lola), watching TV with her cats (Connor and Twister), and gardening with her fiance, Natalie.
