Major accomplishments this year:
Completed the employee handbook for Board Approval
Hired Michele Currie to replace Ginny Verne as our part-time bookkeeper.
- Please briefly describe any factors that facilitated or impeded your work this year.
- Any special initiatives continuing into the next program year.
Rev. Robinson will devote additional hours each month to support our staff and help oversee their good work.
- Future dreams or long-range plans for the committee.
Steps were taken to move our music director closer to a half-time position (and full time down the road), going from 12 to 15 hours per week in hopes that we continue to grow our congregation membership and ultimately, contributions that would afford us to go to 20 hours by FY24. Expand committee involvement through more engagement.
- Constraints on accomplishing these plans.
Congregational growth is necessary to grow our music program, as well as other offerings, including the possibility of a part-time volunteer and membership coordinator. Critical that the committee works collaboratively and meets on a regular basis to engage in critical thinking, understanding committee imperatives and team building.
