Major accomplishments this year:

• • Blessing of the Animals
  • New member recruitment

Please briefly describe any factors that facilitated or impeded your work this year.

• Low membership due to loss of members from graduation (2) and two that passed away.

• Difficulty in meeting due to restrictions imposed by Covid.

Any special initiatives continuing into the next program year.

• Recruitment!

• Educating the Congregation on the importance of the ethical treatment of animals and on developing non-meat alternatives in diet through film and dining events.

Future dreams or long-range plans for the committee.

• Awareness and participation in legislative actions related to the ethical treatment of animals.

• Collaboration with other committees (eg CYRE) to reinforce education and objectives to the Congregation.
