Summary of November 25 – 28, 2012 Virtual Meeting

Attendance 

Members participating via email were:  Ann Johnson (President), Ivy Coleman (Co-President-Elect), Robin Scherer (Co-President-Elect), Linda Brennison (Treasurer), and Bob Whitaker (Secretary).   Barry Ahrendt (Past-President), and Neal Jones (Minister) also participated.

Summary

The virtual meeting began with an email from Ann on Sunday, November 25, 2012, 3:08 PM, explaining the shut-down of the RE heating system and her request to the Chair, Buildings and Grounds Committee for three bids for replacement.  By email of Tuesday, November 27, 2012, 11:00 AM, three bids and a recommendation were received from the B&G Committee, and  considered by members of the Executive Council.  After full discussion of the merits of the bids among all parties attending, the Executive Council agreed on November 28, 2012, to accept Southern Heating and Air’s bid for 80% efficiency furnaces at $4,000. Working with Glenn White, Ann directed that Southern Heating and Air be contacted and asked to begin work on the repairs.
