Annual Report for Endowment Committee 2020-2021

We continue to invest the UUCC Endowment in the UU Common Endowment Fund, a professionally managed resource which balances financial goals with social responsibility, and actively managed (but often more expensive) funds with passive funds. As of May 27, our holdings in the UU Common Endowment Fund were $190,648,68.

Carita Barr, Member: Growing up in a Lutheran state-taxed church, I never was very religious. But 40 years ago, I heard about Unitarian Universalism through friends. I found a home here where this diverse religious community really works to better our world. Respect and honor for the “other” is the main ingredient in our cooperative efforts as a movement.

We were looking for a church where we felt accepted both intellectually and spiritually, a place where all people and religions were regarded equally without condemnation. Our search began at UUCC six years ago and we never had to look any further. We found our place here with a community of like-minded people and it became our second home, our second family.
